Breaking Light captures the fleeting moment of sunlight filtered through dense woodland trees. The tall trees and elongated shadows create structure and rhythm, and interesting patterns to lead the viewer into the scene. The painting offers an invitation to slow down, look around and notice what’s often overlooked.

Rendered in layers of rich greens and warm, earthy tones, the painting brings depth and luminosity to any interior, creating a calming and uplifting atmosphere and a sense of exploration.

All original paintings are hand signed on the front, with their title and size written on the back. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity.  I finish my paintings with a protective layer of varnish. The varnish protects and enhances the painting and ensures the colours do not fade over time.
