The second in a pair of beautiful Gladioli paintings, celebrating this striking and elegant flower. Gladioli have a certain grandeur with their tall, slim stature, and this colourful painting celebrates and accentuates that. The soft peaches and rich purples create an elegant and arresting interpretation with modern drips and splashes bringing this floral right up to date. There are accents of blue and pink to bring the painting to life and add interest. The beautiful softness of the petals is contrasted by the strong, tall stem and the varied contemporary marks. To top it all off, the deep emerald green background is a popular interior design colour which will add warmth and depth to your space. This is shown both displayed on it's own and with it's partner piece, 'Tall & Mighty'. 

All original paintings are hand signed on the front, with their title and size written on the back. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity.  I finish my paintings with a protective layer of satin varnish. The varnish protects and enhances the painting and ensures the colours do not fade over time.
